Help us Protect Our Community

It has been a busy week for us all on Knoydart as many of our tourism-based operators have re-opened their businesses and visitors are starting to return. Whilst the majority of our protocols are working well and visitors have been taking note of local guidance and following instructions, sadly, we have had some incidents which are causing concern.

There have been a couple of instances where visitors have accessed private gardens and also attempted to access private residences. This has, understandably, caused concern and undue stress for the local residents involved.

It is important at this early stage of re-opening to reiterate the importance of adhering to strict physical distancing rules, and respecting the private property of our residents. Covid-19 has not gone away and we must do our best to protect everyone - but especially those within our community who are classed as vulnerable and are at higher risk.

Please do not attempt to access private gardens, residences or other accommodation properties without prior invitation.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
