We posted recently about the exciting project Paisley is currently putting together called Inside Out: The Last Wilderness - part of the global Inside Out project documenting communities with stories to tell. Over the last two weeks Paisley was scouring the village, stopping people on the road, knocking on doors and following people around to collect over 70 portraits of the locals - an amazing feat in itself! Once the first few went up on the Facebook page lots of folk wanted to be involved and reports from Paisley and her subject said it was a great experience.
So, the next step is to get these digital images in to a physical form which will be displayed across Knoydart at the end of the year - to be specific, printed in to large posters at 36" x 53" in size. The cost of printing, postage and packaging etc. adds up to around £11 per poster, so to add to the generous donations made at the All American Movie Night fundraiser Paisley has set up a crowdfunding page which you can access by clicking here. Pledgers will be rewarded with anything from a hug to a set of portrait photographs taken in Knoydart depending on how much you are able to give.
We are very excited about this project - if you are able to pledge to help make this happen Paisley and all the locals will be extremely greatful. Here are a few of her amazing portraits.
